Zetec engines are amazing in the fact that they all seem different. some gain 3bhp from mods u list were as Paul's gained 7bhp alone from just a K&N

Trig
for the money you have spent it probably wont be a bad increase. mine felt alot better after fitting an induction kit and backbox and its only a 1.6.
geordie_aaron
i wouldn't say 7bhp was minimal on a N/A engine

foxdie
The GTi is 113bhp (115ps) it'll make no difference to the actual performance of the car. you might make a up 10bhp and be very noisey, but it'll be micky mouse power increase. Best thing you can do, and get best £ per Brake, is NOS. Otherwise your just thowing away your money on mods like exhausts and airfilters. If you want proper increase in performance think outside maxpower box for sec. Decent set of cams, gas flowed head, bored out throttle body panel, proper 4-2-1 manifold, filter & drilled box and proper fully dyno tunable chip (none of this superchips balls). All that and you should see around 135 maybe 140 on a decent engine and cool day.
sortedford
it should take your car to 130ps so dependant on your engine being a 105 or a 115 15-25psits accually a bigger head too foxdiebigger throttle bodie etc...

ploppy
i thought the 130ps xr3i did it in 8.8 sec. thats wot it says in fast ford. if u got a car with more power and torque (in this case) and everything else standard, surely it will be quicker no?
