The Ince Posted December 29, 2005 Share Posted December 29, 2005 (edited) Tuesday night I was driving home from the cinema, and going round the round about the passanger side lower strut support gave way, leaving me no way of steering round the roundabout, hit one curb and the beached it on an island.... After it got towed home it looked like this.... That last one is with wheels straight. Whats needed if I was goign to repair it... New brake pipeNew brake fluidNew steering rack2 New track rod endsNew anti-rollbar linkageNew lower armNew bearing hubNew damperNew power steering pump and beltAll wheels need refurb if not replacing (I had a matching spare)2 New driveshaft boots (it poped out but didn't brake)New wingNew passanger side skirtPlastic weld evotech So I've decided to just get another escort (hopefully tommorrow) and rebuild it but better (and petrol powered) I'll post up the list of parts for sale from it as soon as I decide what I'm keeping.
