Dubs
Looking good mate! If i were you i'd be over the moon! I'm so jealous Truly amazing transformation and its well worth the man hours put in. Whats the total bill if you dont mind me asking? I haven't added up the total amount spent but its nowhere near genuine cossie money. I've kept costs at a minimum by doing a lot of the work myself. If i'd had to pay someone to do the whole thing from start to finish i wouldn't have bothered in the first place. Its been a learning curve and good fun at times but i am glad its almost finished. Andy 3i
One hell of a learning curve! I'd be too scared to attempt that by myself. Although i can maintain my car, i couldnt modify it. Have you got a ball park figure? £2-3k?
Dubs
Been a hectic couple of days on the car. Had it ready for a road test yesterday to make sure it was ok to go to torque of the devil today, and although it went really well the clutch was slipping a bit on boost. Another potential dissapointment, but before i had a chance to get depressed Mark at the garage was on the phone ordering a new cluch and tearing out my gearbox. I pitched in a little bit and within a couple of hours the new clutch was in and a late finish ensured that the car was all good to hit the rollers. We loaded up the car this morning onto a trailer and the first stop was to get the tracking done. The guy that did it thought it was a genuine cossie lol Back on the trailer and after a breif stop at the Wild Bean Cafe we were on our way again. Anyway, cut a long storry short, after a few tweaks to the fueling and some fine adjustments the car put out 182.6 bhp at the flywheel which equates to 151.9 at the wheels and 185 lbs/ft of torque. Due to the standard actuator the car would not hold any more boost but the dyno operater said with a -34 actuator we would see nearer 195 bhp. Got some pics through out the day and a few vids of her on the rolling road. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/michaeld4316/Mikb.jpg http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/michaeld4316/Mikg.jpg http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/michaeld4316/Mike.jpg http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/michaeld4316/Mikc.jpg http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/michaeld4316/Mikd.jpg Rolling Road Video http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/michaeld4316/Mikh.jpg http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/michaeld4316/Mika.jpg
