reid Posted August 21, 2008 Author Share Posted August 21, 2008 any updates on this fella? not much mate, just waiting on some parts to rebuild my engine with and then hopefully work will resume, just not got the time or energy atm and im fooked with the flu as well which isnt helping. ive kinda gave up on any schedule for it, just gonna keep working and finish when its finished! although in saying that,i ve been tempted to sell on all my parts and but a silly car.. Just read this thread from start to finish and am really impressed with what you have done, I can´t wait to see the finished car and hope you get cracking on it again soon. reid Posted August 31, 2008 Author Share Posted August 31, 2008 welldue to working like fcuk ive had very little time to do anything, never mind work on the car! but 2nite i managed to get down for an hour and got a wee bit done. my EFI Turbo engine is now looking like this.. http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh37/srj_mcsar/Image159.jpghttp://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh37/srj_mcsar/Image161.jpghttp://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh37/srj_mcsar/Image162.jpghttp://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh37/srj_mcsar/Image163.jpg my garage is a bit on the dirty side to be rebuilding the engine in but its fine for pulling it apart, from what i can see theres very little damage/wear on the internals but almost everything will be replaced. the head will be going in soon to be skimmed (to clean it up rather than to raise the CR) and pressure tested, along with having the crank checked and balanced.
