Anyway, best of luck with the final push mate Bonnet vents look cool btw cheers fella, aye i had a serious think about it this morning and im still gonna crack on with her to get it finished but i dont wanna start rushing it now for it to turn out looking Shite. ive found myself cutting corners last few nights to try get things done and i just dont want to do that. i really hoped (and planned) to have the car at fordfair this year but circumstances changed alot and rather quickly from when i started it (LOL @ a month). now the end is in sight, im not going to stumble over it with a Shite looking result, i want to blast over it knowing that EVERYTHING on the motor has been done to the best of my ability and hopefully end up with a rather unique and original escort (if there is such a thing) with a bit of power to match the looks. with the motor ive planned just about everything and its exactly the way i want my car to look, although n saying that i'll not know how its gonna fit together until its finally all back in one piece. i dunno if the vents will look right with the morettes, or if the bootlid will suit the rest of of the car but ive tried to keep a clean and subtle, yet different type of stlye using a majority of ford parts, almost as if it could be OEM. sadly i dont think i'll ever make a FordFair in my own motor, i think the end of escort ownership will be nearing for me in the not too distant future in aid of being young and buying a fast and stupidly expensive to run motor for a while but that really all depends on what happens with this motor. if i have still got it next year then it'll be a fcuking beast! but i'll defo be attending shows later in the year, in fact i may even try get to some of the smaller ones just to make up for this. but i'll still be at fordfair myself, albeit in the mrs Ka (fun fun fun.... ). cheers again for the comments guys, theyre much appreciated. I've already missed out on two shows that i wanted to do this year but with mine going tits up i've had to miss out.
