Escort_Kid
...Basically ive got a big problem. Ive started to ring around for insurance and Direct Line and Adrian Flux have both said they wont insure me at 17 even as named driver on my car (1.4 escort lx) because its modified (alloys, lowered, backbox) Anyone know of any insurers that will? rs2k2008
Look in the back of max power, redline etc. They have adds for young drivers on modify cars. Do they refuse to insure you or just charge a lot?

stuey650
I used CIS when I was 17, then moved to clydesdale bank the year after that. That was nearly 7 years ago so things may have changed but worth a shot.

Mike C
it's only got minimal mods, so I'm sure most insurers will be fine CIS I'd say or try Tesco, they're cheap Or HIC
