Muppje
Just called my insurance company (Elephant) and been told my car is a super-modified beast and they have given me 30 days to remove 'mods' or find someone else. They're being nobs about it, and will only let me have 6 mods MAX. Not telling them my mods is not an option, I'm paying to have insurance remember. Recommendations? My super long list of mods: WheelsAir FilterExhaustSuspensionStrut BraceRS2000 SeatsTinted Lights Soon to be added: Engine Hoses (do I need to declare these?)Brake Upgrade

bluliz
Adrian flux sorted me out with a policy where its a fixed price...and i can do what i like* *- Increasing the bhp is the only thing that would push the £ up. They do not class an airfilter or exhaust as a BHP increasing item.

Muppje
Ring Tony at Greenlight. Tell him you're from PassionFord 01277 263030 Will do that in the morning....sucks because I'll probably be too skint to pay it off in one lump and that'll bump up the price. Theres no age restriction on it is there? I looked at the Chris Knott bit on here, and it's for over 25's only

Muppje
why would you tell them u had rs2000 seats Because I want it declared so they can't wriggle out of claims. I asked about them, and the lights and they said it was classed as modifying as it's not how it left the factory. Completely anal in my opinion, but if I'm paying for insurance, I want it to be there when I need it. By not declaring stuff, I may aswell just not pay out for insurance to begin with... Give Chris Knott a call, deffinatly worth it Over 25's only apparentally

Trig
Give Chris Knott a call, deffinatly worth it Over 25's only apparentally Try them anyway, they might not be able to put you on the discount scheme, but they might be able to do something. They gave a pretty competitive quote for my missus car, she isnt a member here or over 25 so she wouldnt have been eligible for the scheme either.
