Nope not fitted it yet will be fitting on sunday when I wash and polish the car weather pending. Although just had another issue with the car today the middle silencer box has fell to bits so got to replace that monday GRR one thing after another I swear haha. Within the space of like a week, Ive smashed up my smoothed GTi bumper, replaced my lambda and TPS and now my exhaust has gone. The joys of escorts I suppose But I am looking forward to fitting my freshly painted GTi bumper on sunday whoop whoop, ooo it looks so shiny! Although I will be going back to a non-smoothed front, not having my number plate in the windscreen anymore. Escort_Kid Posted June 12, 2011 Author Share Posted June 12, 2011 UPDATE Well haven't been on this thread in AGES, since the last photos the car has been through a couple looks, its had a few stickers on the windows, a chequer roof put on by myself and a round tip put on the exhaust, at a later date this also got changed for a custom side exit exhaust, but then however due to circumstances the car had to be given to my missus to use for awhile so the chequers and all stickers apart from my faviourite DC ones were all ripped off and I got to use a gap car which was a vw golf mk3 1.4 that has since been sold now and I now have the escort back, thank god! A quick pic of what it did look like before the latest change: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/photo13.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/photo129.jpg However now ive got it back , ive put on a fresh set of discs and pads, a new cat back exhaust system to get rid of the very loud side exit, and I tried my hand at applying a new roof however I went for a complete carbon wrap on the roof, it didnt come out perfect I made a few mistakes with it but ive never tried to apply vinyl this big before and let me tell you its alot harder then some people make it look lol however overrall its not came out too bad. Ive also put on a different front bumper again with the plate back in the normal place and led bulbs in the headlights.
