thought kris should have washed his car though, if i didnt have a cold and a hangover i was going to give it a wipe over myself but i was f****d cleaning flies off mine

 

dont let me stop you at the next show mate lol

its hdr or bracketing. you need a camera that can take the same picture with at least 3 exposures. one over.. one under and one normal and then put them together for this effect. i will be able to do this soon once i get my new camera :thumb:

All you need really is one shot in RAW format. Then with photoshop adjust the exposures so you have one image over exposed, one normal image correctly exposed and one slightly under exposed. Then using a program like 'photomatix' over lay them and adjust the levels of brightness, contrast, colour balance etc till you are happy with the image.

well yeah you can do that as well.. :) cheaper than a new camera.. assuming your camera will take raw pics

Doen't have to use RAW, just edit the original image in photoshop, save a copy with less expose and one with more.

 

Won't be perfect, but means you can have a play in photomatix.

can someone do a pic like that of my car, i think it looks awsome

Excellent pic, id have one as well and i wouldnt mind paying if anyone wants to do one, need it doing so it can be blown up to A3 size :thumb:
