As has been discussed in the threads we have decided to go bowling at strykers bowl for a couple of games and a buffet. unfortunately we need the money up front to allow for a discount (from £5.50 a game to £5.00 for 2 games pluss a buffet for £3.50) thanks to DJ and his Girlfriend. The reason we need this up front is so that strykers can make up the correct amount of food and set aside lanes for us. if people were to say they would pay on the day and then not turn up we would still have the bill for the food so hopefully you can see where i am coming from! this is also the reminder for the meet on the 25th JANUARY at 2pm please could you make payable the amount of: £8.65 (the extra 15p to cover paypal costs) (im not a mathamatician and if its less il gladly give you the pennies back if iv asked to much, if you ask on the day ) TO: nasher66613@hotmail.com any questions message me and il try my best to get back to you asap. KNITERIDER Posted November 11, 2008 Author Share Posted November 11, 2008 (edited) thats fair enough but the lads from leicester and the otherside might have aprob. now if we maybe looked at tamworth that might be a bit more central. just up the 42 from brum and not far from derby and just down the M1 from leicester? alwways open to ideas nore the merrier!!! or maybe tour the areas a diff place each month, provided people attend most meets not just their local ones? Simonez Posted November 11, 2008 Share Posted November 11, 2008 good thinking! be nice for a local meet, i bet Stoo / Ian will pop along to! should find a decent venue with a decent car park, which will allow us to have a meet, regarding we dont do anything stupid which im sure we wont, anywhere in the middle will do, so its pretty equal for them all, could go to a pub/resturant and have a meal or somet, and then gather and just talk etc, or then another one could be laser quest of crazy golf which would be good fun! will have a think! and get somet sorted !
