I use Adbove Photoshopt CS3, you can get CS4 but its very hard to use and is a massive file as it has so much more effects and Shite but if your just gona chop your car and make sigs n stuff you only need CS2/3.

 

If your a pirate...you can get it from anywhere.

I use "ulead photoimpact 5.1" I got off one of those crappy freeware cdRoms you get with mags.

 

think you can get it off limewire too, dead easy to use, simple and obvious controls for the newcomer and plenty of options for the more advanced once you get into it

corel paint shop pro x is what i use, a lot of the functions of photoshop but not as complicated
