MarkyMark
The whaletail is an iconic piece of ford motoring history, but should only be reserved for the cars it was designed for
Si
I really like the whail tail even on a MK6, especially on that red one, looks the dogs! The car when i bought it was 'Kitted up' and i use the term very loosely. I bought the car with the arches to be fitted but ended up selling them to Timmy C ( for his black Mk6 ) Fast Ford - readers cars Pg96 Feb 2007 - Matthew Scadding But it looked like this when i bought it.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v40/sifourbyfoursi/My%20Cars/Escort%20Si/12.jpg And ended up like this when i sold it http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a193/SiV6Si/Escort/Now/02032007005.jpg Edited July 30, 2009 by Si

Carl160180
Liam DON'T YOU DARE!!!!!!!!! I will personally rip it off if you do mate! LOL If you wanting your car to stand out from the crowd then a cossie "whale tail" will do that but for the wrong reason's LOL I'd stick with the rs acc spoiler you were thinking about, I prefer the subtle mod's that people don't notice at first, Gives the car that standard look with a twist

RO55
"Bit of work" being what exactly... ? Well if you have a 3 mount spoiler then you need to Blank the 6 holes off. The Hole centres are totally off. If no spoiler fitted then you need to get it cock on .. Or it will do ya head in .. Havent be arsed to fit mine yet ... Oh yeah: You will need to drill some bigger holes so you can get to the mounting Screw as the bootlid is double skinned and theres no way to get the screw through the original 3 mount spolier access
