scottg17
http://www.speedtest.net/result/569968604.png Joys of a leased line at work for all yous guys that have a slow connection try an i plate... they are about a tenner what they do is dissapate the interference from the bell wire on your line (it acts like a bit antenna picking up all sort of eletrical interference) with it installed it should lower you loop loss and stabalise your SNR margins giving you a better sync rate (see if you have an NTE5 Socket though, the one with the test port behind it) but can increase your sync rate by about 30% Your throughput can still be affected by bandwidth ECT. speedtest.net is just purley for testing your throughput though. SteveB
http://www.speedtest.net/result/569761417.png how are people on virgin media getting them high numbers? They're on cable and plugged straight into the modem. I have virginmedia 10meg - directly into the modem or router gives 8.6 - on 54g wifi I get 6.6 - and my old 11b wifi gives 3.5.
