stevmo3691 Posted March 16, 2010 Author Share Posted March 16, 2010 thanks for all the comments. my car will show the money spent when i get time too do it. you'd think with 2 weeks off work i would have time to do things but no. everyone finds jobs for me to do and am still waiting on a door handle to get this so*ding Rover off my drive and as theres no tax cant park it on the road i REALLY wanted an escort. looked at loads to get a good un and still got one that needed work I love this car so much i'm happy o spend the money on it and there have been no freebies here. thanks john but got some out of a fiesta at the breakers so sorted I'm really hoping to do my remote locking tomorrow then dont need to sort door barrel all will be well in time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

stevmo3691 Posted March 19, 2010 Author Share Posted March 19, 2010 knew i could count on kev to comment on my speed actually did something today. see if you can spot the difference between the before:http://i6.tagstat.com/image05/8/520f/0038001O58f.jpg and the after:http://i4.tagstat.com/image06/8/520f/0037001O58f.jpg photos out of focus as camera bit naff, but it works for now tried to do remote locking but the kit doesnt work and then tried to do quick oil and filter change but the last person to do the oil over tightened the sump nut and when trying to un-do it the head rounded off. gonna have to drop the sump off and get the bolt out on the bench and re-thread the sump as i believe it was cross-threaded too Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
