stevmo3691
i have fitted the worlds best sticker to my car only one and its a yellow circle. also inside the car. any guesses? my new remote kit arrived today too so with luck (please pray for me) i can get the rear lowered and the remote locking done on sunday love the remotes too - brushed alluminium edging with blue LED
stevmo3691
no guesses on the sticker then? its for support the guide dogs stuck it on the fascia adaptor next to my parrot display my car developed a new fault last night the left hand LED for the instrument binnacle flickers. stops when i hit the dashboard but then after few mins flickers again. although was fine tonight. when i change the dash surround, dials etc i will have a go at fixing that too only draw back i have found to my lovely cars drivetrain is that 1st gear is shockingly bad - way too short. does have comedy value though. 2 twerps in a 04 corsa 1.4 sxi were trying to beat me away from traffic lights leading up to a dual carriage way. they got away quicker, partly cos as i said first is too short and secondly they jumped the lights. then i got into second bye bye corsa should say at no point did i break the speed limit as that would be reckless and stupid speed limits 100 right? Long ago, I was mates with this bird with a Nova GTE. She'd never taken it over 3000rpm. Once i'd educated her on the full power band, she was like a child with a new toy, giggling estatically. Ratspeed
My RS1800 rev'd to 8500rpm. Nearly no power whatsoever right up there but it sounded awesome!
stevmo3691
well, weather permitting, friday will see the rear finally lowered and the fuel filter changed, sunday will see remote kit done and RS callipers re-built then mon will see RS front brakes fitted (my current callipers are sticking).nothing been done lately as my free time has either been used for preperation for passover (Jewish holiday) or driving my dad and brother to look at new cars. choice of my escort or an Astra CDX auto (mums) and they use hers once and then beg me for lifts also trying to convince my mum to get a focus btw, my brother and dad have bought a car - 2000 W plate audi A6 2.5V6 TDi auto estate so i dont have to take them car shopping anymorei do find it funny that my dad still borrows my car when he can (he's insured to) even though he has the audi. he wont admit mines better though plans for now are to fit what parts i have, buy new tyres for my ST24 wheels and save up for a full professional re-spray (staying aubergine) with rust removal from everywhere and an engine re-build with burton performance (aiming for 150bhp+ with my engine as n/a for road use - not doing 2.0 as i like my engine) and enough change to buy another escort as a temp runner (if there are any left) whilst mine is re-worked. prob couple years off though
