protouring mk6 Posted March 7, 2010 Author Share Posted March 7, 2010 im going as fast as i can...lol.just takes so much time when designing and building from scratch.heres some pics from today.http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk77/fastty01/IMGP1372.jpghttp://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk77/fastty01/IMGP1373.jpghttp://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk77/fastty01/IMGP1375.jpghttp://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk77/fastty01/IMGP1376.jpglast of the floor sections,just the holes to the side to fill.the passenger side will have the fuel filler neck coming up to the back of the door jamb just belowe the catch.its a bit of a compromise as the rear seat sits a little higher than stock because the rear beam sits higher in the new rear frame,but it will all work like stock .will try and make the filler neck and weld it to the tank through the week.hopefully should start to weld it all in place next weekend,once done i can put the strut tops in for the rear shocks and springs.will keep the updates coming.
