ScORTED
they're nice, don't do much in the way of ride and handling though, cool crusers, the autoboxes are rubbish and the manuals aren't common, although you can still smoke the tyres in an auto

Lee_2f2f
Jesus, didn't know they were that affordable! Must cripple you on the maintenance though. It does suprise you WWWD doesn't it? The F150 was roughly £18,000 back in 2006... the only way they will be Stupidly Expensive is when you have to import them yourself, if they are already in the UK, its not to bad on price. Yes Maintenance costs do cripple you a bit.... I recently had drilled disks and pads put on the truck, that was £270.....
RO55
Handling and ride quality has improved vastly over the older models. But, People will always asume they handle bad, Roll about and drive crappy. Not the case with the new models, same with the Trucks, They are super stiff and super sharp. The SRT8, They had to include an Off Button for all the fancy traction aids etc, as the diehards prefer them lethal and unpredictable.

RO55
Ah well .. I think they are decent .. even the 270BHP povety models are tidy. Handle and drive miles better than a FWD escort anyhow .. The 1/2 ton truck's are pretty sharp as well.

You can't compare a "poverty model" mustang with a circa 100BHP FWD family hatch...What you can compare it to are japanese and eurpean coupes....So, how does it stack up against a BMW 3 series with the M sport pack, or even just the basic 3 series coupes with soft suspension... I bet it'll get raped.. I like the mustang and i'd happily own one, but i wouldnt defend one in the "they handle like american shite" argument because compared to what europe can offer, they do! Thats fair enough ... I dont know how they would compair .. Similar powered Bmw vs Stang. I know the Stang is allot bigger so the Power/Weight Ratio might be on the European side.
