ahhh, gotcha, i had similar but with my plastic with so it gave enough to get the probe in, for my boa it didnt matter as theres no way it'd get out. easy mistake tho, id rap the wire with elec tape or similar so the cable is a snug fit.

dont loose hope yet its not been that long and i bet the snake isnt even that hungry yet, pluss the weather is warm :)

they often end up in speakers and electrical items so keep an eye out :)

id get your snake off a forum, especially adults aspetshops overcharge even for hatchlings, the one i post (rfuk) has a for sale and a rehoming section :)

  • 2 weeks later...

not snakes but seeing as its all reptiles and only a few people view this thread thought id add pics of my turtles. they are homed with 5 guppies (2 male 3 female) we started with 8, one died a few mins after going int he tank the other two were eaten.

on female has had a "litter" last weekend 11 remain out of 16 so not to bad, dunno if all/many/any will survive but one other will be dropping in next few weeks. the other one doesnt seem like its pregnant tho.

more greenery will be added after payday. theturts are musk turtles called fred and perry :)
