this is fanny the tiger reticulated python. had lots of trouble with her as sh was ill after being imported from the states with severe dehydration, mmouth rot, respiratory infection and VERY underweight, was only 11grams, thats less than a newborn snake a quater the size of her!

still being fussy with food at present but shes all healthy now and had 6 meals since got her in may and grown about 4inches or so.

she will top out between 15-20ish feet.as you can see she likes climbing my lamp shade. she is about 2.75 feet at the mo.

finally lizzy the boa constrictor, she is on the first few pages of this thread from back in feb when she was still only little she has grown LOTS since and is over 3.5 feet now and sooooo much thicker. again a calm snake but did bite me the other day but iv not handled her much so must get on top of that. she has darkned up alot recently and will grow between 8-10 feet usually.

these are the vivs at present. excuse the mess id just put them in there att the time. the box nearest the wall holds the rat snake, the double viv holds the burm and the boa th elittle one on top holds the retic and the bottom one is empty at present.

what you going to do when these grow to there full size?

in what way mate?

i will still have them, il have moved out within the year and already have the woood to build much larger enclosures. they are still handleable at their bigger size pluss there will always be at least another person there when i do handle them if they decide t have an off day with me. most of the leg work with snakes is done in the younger years getting them to tolerate being handled. :)
