danposs86
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/1995_mk5b/Photo314.jpg Got some fogs to fit, rather than fit brackets which involves drillings, yawn, is the bumper strong enough to simply attach them? I am wanting to possition them on the top of the bumper, either side of the front grille, where its flat. Is the bumper plastic strong enough there? Lee_2f2f
EASILY strong enough Dan.... I did it on that very bumper back in the day. Trust me it is strong enough, I do have a pic of them on the front of the bumper but It's not on my PB I'll upload it later.

Ok drilling through metal, I dont mind drilling through plastic. Will get 'em mounted. Just need to find a mk5 fog switch, I did have one but its gone missing. shawdreamer
done it before myself Dan on my first mk5b, those grey bumpers are even less brittle than the abs painted ones so you should be right. think Ive even still got the fogs around somewhere, took me ages to find a set thats shape fitted perfectly into the bumper recess without looking "chav bolt-on"
