I think this is my favorite Escort on here for now, living in Spain I should really get one of these! Do Cab's come with an aircon option (apart from leaving the roof down) The only thing that would make it better IMHO is to change the main colour to BRIGHT yellow and leave all the rest of the trim gloss black. Just had a quick look on Ebay and there are a couple of Mk 6 1.8 Ghia Cabbies with aircon (didn't even know these existed) for reasonable money, sounds like a definite future project for me :-) It's great having the Estate but annoying to have no options for the rear end and I could really go to town with a Cab :-) I have a really big garden but no driveway or garage yet, just been getting quotes to add one but it's coming to a lot more than I expected, can't wait to get some off road parking sorted so I can get cracking on a project. Or even wash the car properly. You aren't really supposed to wash them in Spain and if you get caught can be fined. (supposed to use car wash which are recycled water) Rigpig. massivewangers Posted May 9, 2010 Share Posted May 9, 2010 I'm not sure on this. I think the dark bits and the wheels really go with the colour, so I like that aspect of it. But, like Lee, I've never been a fan of the ST24 rear to be honest. Personal preference of course. To be honest, my only real criticism is the front bumper. The rear bumper and skirts are very deep, but the front doesn't look deep enough to match them. The front should really be the lowest point, but at the moment it looks like it's the highest.
