finessescort
Well i have recently moved to Banbury... just settled in... looking for work... the usual. Went shopping today and was stopped by a chap who said to me "Hello there sir, you look like the sort of chap that would look darn smashing in some of these clothes" and in Banburian.... "yo bruv, u wana buy sum fresh designa gear? u'd look da rubbish" Anyway... i thought i would look at some of the merchandise... and... its looked ok... i didnt buy any... but still it looked good... we got chatting and in the end i found out it was "hot", in other words.... back of a lorry job.... stolen...not that this matters to me, if im provided with a £70 polo for £10 ... Now i know i shouldnt buy any, its illegal but my question is... would anyone here... "hypothetically" buy 'hot' designer good?
KNITERIDER
Depending what it is then yes. I wouldn't however sell them on. Back of a lorry yes. Mugging a little old lady no. I think it would depend on the items tho as to where my morals would lye.
LiamGTR
Too right, I download music/dvds/games etc. thats basically the same, i'd buy hot phones or anything. Think what you like I couldn't give a rubbish
stuey650
I certainly wouldn't off a random in the street like you have suggested, infact i wouldn't give such a person the time of day as I wouldn't want to be seen with them, you never know who's watching. I might however buy such goods off a more trusted person/friend, friend of friend depending on the situation and what the goods were. i wouldn't buy a 2nd hand phone that was clearly stolen from someone, but I might if it was "off the back of a lorry" still in the box sorta thing. mykez69
I'd buy anything stolen. End of the day, you didn't know lol
mclovin9091
I also wouldn't buy off a stranger in the street would be too paranoid that it was an undercover cop. Although if it was a mate or a mates mate then damn right, clothes how can you prove they are stolen? anything with a serial no can be dodgy but would still consider it. But as mentioned above if it was stolen from someone then no (probably). At the end of the day 95% od people would, its the same as shopping around for cheaper _____ (fill in the blank) Isn't it? Apnea
I think it says somewhere in the bible thats its illegal to handle stolen goods. And as a good Sikh I strive to abide by it.

TC-DNB
I have, and always will buy this stuff. Why pay top price when you can get it 80% off? Had a guy that was selling designer polos, shirts and trainers out a van...said it was 'old eBay stock' i said i didnt care £20 for brand new trainers worth over £100 yes please! Never saw him again haha I think it says somewhere in the bible thats its illegal to handle stolen goods. And as a good Sikh I strive to abide by it. confused.com
LedVenT
I'd never pay a tenner for a hot/fake shirt when you can get an original Ralfhy/Burberry/Lacoste from a charity shop for a quid seventy nine, or a pair of Versace jeans for three and a half queens quids.
