few little updates

following on from my thread a few months ago... HOW IT WAS

 

its weired how i lost interest in cars after my escort but then with the focus, i have love for cars again!!!

 

well, quite a bit has happened, few bits to finish off the look ive started. although i stil have a HUGE list of other changes i want to make!!! (The pictures didnt come out too well for some reason - i used a digital SLR!!!)

 

slightly better pics than the ones i posted a week or so ago!!! What do you think?

 

List of current mods are in my sig! Later this week ill be making the calipers red!!! Then just waiting for my stoffler lower grille and front and rear fog surrounds to arrive

to add, its running around 260-270bhp at the moment, has a stage 2 remap, forge intercooler and soon to have a miltek/mountune exhaust. should be 300bhp by xmas as the induction will be sorted by then, i cant decide what to get for it though, theres so many different choices - for a temporary measure it has a K+N Panel filter Edited October 27, 2010 by marcus

Nice colour. Though I must say, if it was mine, I would have spent a little less on screens and things, and a bit more on tyres, not a fan of Falken's at all!

the falcons were on the wheels when i bought them (£180 for swapping wheels (silver for black powdercoated) and 2 x new tryres)! the rear ones on my old ones were nackad (Conit sport 3) and i had hankook at the front. im gonna use these for a while and then swap them for hankook again.

 

ive only had the falcons on for a day and they are pretty shocking, tis fine when driving normal but when i stick the boot down, they struggle to find grip

 

although saying that, falkon 452 are ace tyres and reccommended among ST owners! these are the 912 and are rubbish...IMO

I likes that, is that a bit of flocking i see there.

it is indeed, the top of the dash where the turbo dial is,radio surround, both interior lights (the plastics), gear surround, ash tray are all flocked. i am gonna get the A pillars done and a few other random bits. i hate taking off the bits though as i'm terrified of breaking clips - luckily none have broken yet and all has gone well but am taking my time!

 

its definately the 912 tyre which are not as good, the 452 are recommended but id never get them, hankook or certain yoka's only!!!

 

just ordered a nice new set of brakes with fancy disks. Eibach lowering springs, braided brake hoses, seat covers and a service. should all be on by the 27th of this month!
