Got to work yesterday pulled the car off the trailer it was parked up on, jacked it up took the drums off, put new cylinders on it and new brake pipes. Just got to fill it up with brake fluid and bleed the system. Went to take the battery off to take it home and charge up ready for when i came back to work today, so i was unwinding the wing nut and heard a tssssshhhh release of pressure, got the battery out and the sides we all bulged out and the cells were dry. Ahhh. Picked up a new battery from Halfords today, i wasn't going to risk the old one. Got some petrol and she fired on the button. Also got some new tyres, but i can't fit them until it goes to new work. Maxis MAZ1's - Pukka rubber. Ahmotorsport Posted October 20, 2013 Author Share Posted October 20, 2013 Well, all went well today. Brakes are adjusted and bled. New wheel bearings fitted, New steering rack boot fitted and a cheeky road test at the end of the day. Absolute class, next Saturday i will rig up the electric fan and hopefully drive it down to work where i can change the tyres and MOT it! I forgot to take any pictures, being in a main dealer has changed the way i work, i just get on with it now, but here's a video to refresh your memory of how she sounds.
