Ahmotorsport
You look like a raver from the 90's, just need some glow sticks! lol, Look forward to seeing the car all in primer. Its funny how putting down a solid colour, even primer, can make a car look 'whole again' as oppose to patches of fibreglasss, filler, bare metal e.t.c. Really make syou feel like your getting somewhere. I am a raver from the 90's! Haha. You're absolutely right mate! It does, i've just primered the front wings and valance it looks clean non rusty BOOTIFUL! Okay maybe i exaggerated, looks better than it did though. I now know what you mean about the primer going on dry, Paul told me to add more thinner, so i did, it's done better and it's helped with the atomizing but it isn't right, the gun is a pile of w4nk i reckon. Paul forgot his Devilbiss so he's gonna bring it tomorrow as there is no way i'm using that gun for a top coat. Anyone want a rubbish spray gun? Paul said his 25 quid one is better than this and this one was 50 lol. You can even hear that the gun is restricting the air, pile of sh!t, not happy at all. Anyway, to the IMPortant stuff: http://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae68/Ahmotorsport/P220811_1920.jpghttp://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae68/Ahmotorsport/P220811_1920_01.jpghttp://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae68/Ahmotorsport/P220811_1938.jpghttp://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae68/Ahmotorsport/P220811_2025.jpg

Ahmotorsport
Primered the roof so far today, might primer the doors a bit later when the roofs dried a bit, then i'm likely to be nearly out of thinners, i've ordered 5 more litres which will hopefully get here soon (i didn't realise how much thinner you actually use ) Roof looks good. Ahmotorsport
The window covering make me laugh, I think you should leave it on!!!Haha "Muuuum?" "What?" "You got any curtains you don't want?" lawl. I've got masking paper but curtains are flexible. Doors are primered Pauls gun is loooooooooads better! Half the price too which pi55es me off xD Tomorrow i shall try and primer both rear wings but i might run out of thinners then, so the back will have to wait till i get more thinners. lee grout
Just out of curiosity, why spend ages masking up and spraying sections in primer when you could just prep and spray the lot in one go. If its all to be primed why mask it off. What you've sprayed looks good anyhow.

Thanks a lot mate One door, one front wing has been wet sanded, the roof is nearly there.

Ahmotorsport
I've finished flatting the roof and a rear wing. So i sat back to have a look at it and noticed my rear drum is gold? When i first had the drums off i hammerited them smooth silver, so why is it gold? I'm baffled
