Finnally got my skirts on http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/1414031.jpg http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/1414034.jpg http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/1414037.jpg http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/1414038.jpg http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/1414039.jpg http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/1414040.jpg http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/1414041.jpg http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/1414044.jpg http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/1414046.jpg also when doing the cambelt the power steering pipe split so a temp repair was required! http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/1414030.jpg and i also found these during my house move...heated screen relays from a 1992 XR3i and a 1991 XR2i,both worked fine so if anybody is interested http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/1414036.jpg

the_big_man
i spy a fiesta in the garage, looks a gooden too that's my mates winter runabout, it's a 1.3 finesse xr2i rep... dead quiet and fully kitted with bodykit and si front & rear suspension & brakes His main car is a Mk3 Fiesta Si with a 2ltr mondy lump fully chromed up I know what i have done to my scort is the most common of mods to do to a scort but it is the most reliable / best look for an escort. Still need to find time to mount springs and other stuff. Until i have my 2 ltr lump i've been advised that the 1.8 cams are better than 1.6 cams and will help a little bit with a good filter and free flow exhaust (already fitted) Opinions please
the_big_man
Hello all Long overdue little update...finnally got round to fitting some extra bits and cracking on with some things that needed attention. Managed to get my parrot handsfree wired in and my new alarm fitted and fully remoted up But the main bit for me has been the addition of a new drivers door as mine had a big rust patch in it and looked nasty and also a new (ish) front bumper with fogs in it. Thought i was gonna spend ages running new wiring to the fogs but was lucky enough to find ALL the fog light wiring already there!! just needed the switch, lamps and a fuse to get it all to work....gotta love ford for making this so simple. Also had a bit of a result when i bought the bumper and door as the guy just so happened to have a genuine Escort Cosworth Steering wheel (airbag type!) on an Si steering colum which has the adjustment on unlike the crappy Finesse one..result!!! What else.....o yeah.. my electric mirrors finnaly work now as the door i got came off an si which had the wiring in it already but needed my eleccy mirrors on it. Anyways,....i'm talking too much now!!! Got some snaps here of how shes sits now http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/piccies018.jpghttp://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/piccies003.jpghttp://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/piccies017.jpghttp://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/piccies022.jpghttp://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/brunty003.jpghttp://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/brunty002.jpghttp://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/brunty001.jpg

the_big_man
cheers for the comments....rust work is not my speciality. Bad news now though. Am gonna sell my GTi rep, but replacing it with a 130ps Cabriolet Ghia with all electric goodies. Going to move some bits across like exhaust manifold and Back Box, Chrome Dial surrounds and a few other bits. Other than that shes going to eBay to find a new home Also...shoulda seen how much metal had to be grinded away to find clean metal, looked worse than what i expected it to be
