Havent you heard for him?I think he left my house number off the address when he sent them, i only know this because his friend naylor sent me a photo of the couriers information its been one big cock up but i'm not out of pocket would just like to know what happened to the lights whether or not they found there way back to the sender. tomsy Posted October 7, 2013 Author Share Posted October 7, 2013 After the trouble i had with naylors old half tinted lights not turning up i turned my attention else where, and bought a set of tinted lexus style lights off jdmotorsport. I know he's had a few issues on here with stuff not turning up but i had bought off him before and all was ok, he did need a prompt to get them in the post but always replied to my messages and i wouldn't have any worries about buying from him again. Back to my car now fitted the lights at the weekend and this is how they look. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/31482.jpg Seeing these fitted has given me an idea on how i want the car to finally look, and this is the plan, i really like this carbon dipping that Dale has done to his interior trim but i'm going to look into getting the exterior black plastic trim carbon dipped, that includes scuttle panel rear number plate surround door handles and locks wing mirror mounts washer jets and my front splitter. I'm also going to get the rear windows tinted, and the final thing is wheels, really would like a set of rs7's, but i dont think they'll suit the look i'm after so after a lot of searching i've set my heart on a set of 17" lenso D1R's. Those lexus lights imo are the worst style of the escort versions.........but tinted hide's all their sins and actually look right at home on the car! For a long time I been thinking along the same lines as you with those bits 'carboned' but I was gonna use film rather than dip. Will look forward to see progress. tomsy Posted October 7, 2013 Author Share Posted October 7, 2013 I know where your coming from about the lights hate all that chrome showing especially on darker coloured cars but the tint on the lights tones down the chrome, wasn't sure if i was going to like them when i saw them in the box but they're growing on me now there fitted.
