a genuine 12k miles, or is this a stevemo windup?

Genuine, 12K, that's the reason why Mike bought it, as best option for a 2.0 as it can be driven tested. Being an auto means not been bounced off the limiter so much

The car has done 70k miles, and 12,000 miles ago a new engine was fitted by ford, all with receipts, new alternator radiator and starter etc

The service history shows it has had a fortune spent on it

would the fact that its an auto cause any problems when transferring it, or is it just a case of bolt up whichever gearbox u want, whether it be manual or auto?

Once you've changed the ECU and gearbox and fitted into your escort I don't think there's any different at all. The engine it's self would be the same.

This is a right steal and I hope it's in before ford fair Micky!

Should we park together or apart considering we have pretty much the same car, I reckons together!

will need to change the crank position alloy senser housing and fit a flywheel and clutch :thumb:

You can use your escort bits for that though right?
