drums are gay

had a stud snapped off in one of the hubs, drilled it and tried using a halford easy out tool....which also snapped off, FFS lol

http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/j432/scottybo1/2013-09-22125900_zps3bb2b5c7.jpg

left it for the night, apparently the flash on my phone is quite good

http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/j432/scottybo1/2013-09-22140223_zps69602f8f.jpg

managed to get the stud out, bolted the new hubs to the beam, the pattern on the back is exactly the same as the old escort drums one

you want to use mk4 fiesta front hoses, they fit perfectly, 100% perfect :D

with the rest of the calliper bolted on you can clearly see its pushed down onto the top of the disc so you want be able to fit the pads in. the beam needs grinding down slightly as it fouls the calliper slightly, you only need to remove 2 or 3 mm tops

old escort handbrake cable

http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/j432/scottybo1/2013-09-28184656_zps6417d91d.jpg

compared to focus one

http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/j432/scottybo1/2013-09-28184725_zpsc19508c3.jpg

apparently you need to fit a focus handbrake lever and front cable....bollucs

get your escort front handbrake cable, your focus handbrake cable and an angle grinder, and grind out the groove in the focus cable to the nipple on the escort cable fits in. then reconnect it all, jobs a gooden!

http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/j432/scottybo1/2013-09-29140517_zps18acf614.jpg

the focus cable fits perfectly, its the right length and all the mounts for the escort handbrake cable are still usable

so it should look a bit like this behind the disc and shield etc

http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/j432/scottybo1/2013-09-29142239_zpsf6fea35d.jpg

bleed up and adjust the handbrake

done! rear discs!

they space the wheels out 10mm a side so the wheels fill the arches a bit better, depending on your wheel and tyre choice it may rub the arch lip a tiny bit, but ive had no issues with my 17'' oz superlagerras or my 16'' mondeo wheels

http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/j432/scottybo1/2013-09-30172044_zps696705cd.jpg

http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/j432/scottybo1/2013-09-30172050_zpsc7cc5b9d.jpg

then i decided to give all the brakes a lick of paint so they look nice and new again, and refitted my mondeo weheels as i think they suit the car better. car just needs a bloody good clean now!

Nice work piece of Pee to do,dont know why you needed to grind the bea though, nevermind, and who said you NEED to fit focus handbrake and front cable?

not yourself my good man but i if my memory serves me when i put up a few threads about it a few months back there were a few chaps who said i needed them, at least hopefully my picked will be helpful to someone as it shows you can use the old escort one

as far as grinding the beam i have looked at a few pics of converted beams and seen that they too have had to grind a little bit off, see pic below lol

http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p124/ro...BS/SSL23240.jpg

you can clearly see on this chaps beam where he has had to remove a little bit to make the calliper fit, i had to do the same
