and about the engine, its not something ive ever done before so im not happy doing it on my own so i need to wait for certain people to be available to help. and i still need to get the lsd fitted to the box which is currently in the car, i have to get it in there at the same time as the engine is out.

 

time is a ballache........and im so sick of the 1.6 as well :'(

Less time taking pictures of shoes, and more time fitting that 2.0!!!!

just had my 'consultant' round to take a look over my engine rebuilding skills to make sure everythings pucka. got the green light so ill be hones and say that i now have zero excused lol

 

and sidrick will be upset if i dont post shoe pics

so i opened the car today after all the bad weather again this week. only to find the entire car has been overrrun with mold...

 

i knew there was a small leak from the boot lid, but i didnt know it was this bad ffs

I know you were looking for a new boot lid but Jesus :jaw: Damn spoilers, more trouble than they are worth!

 

Isnt it funny how the rot is not in/around the screw holes but found its own way in on the edge of the spoiler!

im really pleased its not on the bolt holes. what is funny is that the underside of the car is spotless. but the boot lid is shagged

seeing as i cant find another decent bootlid. ive decided to patch this one up as best as i can for the time being.

 

so i got the grinder out........and then the holes got much bigger lol

im gna tack weld a plate behind the holes and then fill over the top
