My Series 1

So I decided I'd been along time without an Escort, so had starting to look around again at Cosworths, but always kept going back to S1's. I really enjoyed having my S2 years ago, but the S1 just has something special about it.

Next thing someone I know said he was selling his as his wife had bought him a focus RS, so I decided I would have it. I hadn't looked it over, but that didnt matter too much as I knew he had had it for 13 years, and it had been kept in a garage. So the deal was done.

I done a few shows over sumemr with her.

To go on:

New inner wing top parts

New outter wings

New battery tray

New Fusebox panel

It didnt need it all, but if you're doing one bit its as easy to do the lot in one go

And yeas I am keeping all the clear lights :pancake:

Sorry mate, but you need to learn where to put axle stands! It's doing sod all to support the car, there! :pancake: :nutter:

What's the plans with it being stripped down? Just a good clean up and rust prevention?

Lol

Yeh she had a bit of rust as they all do on the battery tray, and the top inner wings near the hinge mounts, and a bit on the drivers wing, so thought I'd take the opportunity to do it all.

Inner wing top panels, fuse box panel, battery tray panel, and outter front wings. Give the inner arch a strip down, clean, and re-apply protection, so more prevention than anything as its not bad at all as it must have been protected from fairly early on, and has spent most its life in a garage :)
