John Posted September 8, 2003 Share Posted September 8, 2003 well i thought i'd finally get my say on here even though it's took a day for me to do it!  had a excellent day all round, great to catch up with some familiar faces and some new ones too, pit, simonh1 and his other half, simon and al, toby and jonc (even though we didn't really say much!), of course the mighty waxmonkey and anyone else who i hadn't met before but have now, if i've forgot to mention you there then i'm sorry but it's been a long day at work!  after looking through all the pics on here i don't know if it's worth putting mine on cos most of the cars i took shots of have already been put up  was a excellent turn out this year and i guess it's only gonna get bigger and better each year, i for one hope we have many more years of showing there  thanks to all that organized the stand and got the event sorted out for us and yes that includes u furry cos i'm sure u'll be reading this at some point  now comes the winter break where i can sit down and decide how far i wanna take my car down the modding line!  cheers again everyone, see u all soon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mart1n Posted September 8, 2003 Share Posted September 8, 2003 I agree with everyone on here... it was a fantastic day... To be honest it made a change from being at the RSOC or events which are purely ford related. I spent so long wandering around looking at all the clubs that i lost total track of time and by the time i got back to the mk5r stand it was almost 2pm. I really liked a lot of the cars on the evo stand.. especially the full wrc bodykitted one... top job you have done on that chap!!! I also really really like the celica GT-Four you had.... i love it!!!! I spent so much time on the japenese stands, i may just end up buying one now... I have my eyes on an FTO. Especially after seeing what the old owner of my car has bought himself... I was gonna pop over and say hi... but i spent so much time wandering about by the time i got sorted people had started to leave. I spent a suspiciously long time hanging around the Mazda RX7 stand, and spending a good chunk of my lunchbreak at work checking out the prices on Auto Trader! 260+bhp RX-7 for five grand up? I have to get the missus to get out sometimes and guide me over them.... but a lot of people dont show patience with me and try to hurry me over.
