1.4 cvh to a 2.0 Mondeo engine

I have the chance of a 2.0 mk1 Mondeo engine for my mk6 escort which at the moment is a 1.4cvh but has coil park not the other kind coil. The Mondeo engine comes with rs1800 ecu and engine loom .

The question is can I use my engine loom or put the rs1800 loom in . And should I change my fuel pump as I'm guessing the 1.4 pump won't handle the 2.0 .

Any comments welcome

The way I've done it is change the loom and fuse box to one from a zetec. The pump should be fine because they run the same fuel pressure as far as I'm aware. Then use the guide on here to change the pin outs...but that's for a 2.0 ecu. I've just done this conversion and it's pretty straight forward once you get your head round it

The turbo conversion whilst slightly more expensive and slightly more involved is a good road to go down if your going to be doing this much work to the car, that said changing looms isnt really that hard (but go to a standard zetec escort loom and stick a 2.0 (DEEP,DESK,DALE,DEWY) ECU in there
