essieford Posted August 10, 2013 Share Posted August 10, 2013 Hi all not sure if many of you are on passionford but I've heard a lot about them (mostly not good) from other forums and people in the business so I thought id have a look as im a ford fan and wanted to believe that what I heard was not true. Well I had a look round and it pains me to say they were right even tho there some good guys on there a lot of them are utter a@# h~@esthey slate people most of the time but have no idea them selves some cars look crap but do turn out good I know if you cant take bad feedback then you shouldn't post but they take it to far there is no need to belittle people like that no wonder most other forums hate them (and there is a lot)anyway im sure some people must like them like I said there are some good people on there but the rest let it down.On a plus note this site is ace and loads better and everyone I've seen on this site are good people and for the people that use both sites that I've seen are good chaps too. A lot of people on there seem quite snobby. If you dont own a cossie or an rs at worst they havnt the time of day for you. Im not saying they have to by any means but they are in NO way better than you. I dont know why they think they're above you. In all fairness.....a cossie.....its about the engine! Around it is just another crappy built ford waiting to rust! I like fords myself but am under no illusion that its better in any way than say a German built car! shawdreamer Posted August 10, 2013 Share Posted August 10, 2013 I take it they didn't like your car then?nope i have never put my car on there just having an opinion invariably the larger and more popular a forum site becomes the higher the odds are that an increased percentage of wastage will be created ("wastage" being your average troll and bitter undersexed w4anker obviously), the trick is much the same with anything you look for on the net....you have to dig through the mountains of shite to find the nuggets of usable input. its easy to tar a whole site with the same brush but a little unfair, the like of the above mentioned (w4ankers) will often be the first to jump up and start shouting out their ignorant bigoted opinions as those who hold valued and knowledgeable insight will often take their time and voice a more carefully considered and positively constructive opinion, by which time the idjutes have been howling like baboons for several long tedious minutes... ........that is unless your car genuinely looks like shite and your a feckin idjute yaself..... in which case....... ya feckin deserve it! mikeypr1 Posted August 10, 2013 Share Posted August 10, 2013 (edited) i find them funny because they dont really know me or what i do for a living and what cars ive owedso they cant judge me really can they i was even getting stick for some past cars i had and even though i said the cars were in that condition when i got them they still went on about them like i did the work them (dont think some of them can read) yes they did judge my car and yes it looked like poo to begin with i admit but its getting there now and ill be saying i told you so to them.But like people have said there some people snobs on there that think there above you but there are good ones too.But if you put stickers all over your car and paint it in weird places your asking for trouble. And them telling me the car wont be worth nothing when i sell it means nothing im not doing it for profit i kind of guessed i wont make my money back on it and they dont realise i too could go out and get a cossie if i wanted but i cant justifiy paying 16k on a 20 year old car yes i may have a mk6 si and not a rs 500 or a escort cossie but it will do me Edited August 10, 2013 by mikeypr1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
