bluliz Posted November 16, 2004 Share Posted November 16, 2004 my sister had a metro p-reg, she smashed the thing to bits, twice. first time she ripped a hole in the casing of the cat, and buggered the manifold, she tried to take a downhill corner at 80 and lost it, oversteered in to a hedge, yes the 1.1 did 80. second time, was up the back of a passate estate. the death of the metro. and it was purple. oh yeah and when it was drizzling, water poured on to the carpet when you opened the door. poor design. poor car. poor manufacturer. 5 years old and had rusty arches. Used to drive a Y Reg Gold 1.3 HLE metro, did 105 every single day, wouldnt go any faster as the tyres were rubbing on the chassis at the back....
