See what happens

Nah tis cool, they cover up those nice lines, plus I'd never be able to stick em on straight I'm useless at that sort of thing. Plus ive done 13 miles in my car since December 16th and havent physicall seen it for two weeks, don't think I'll be sticking anything to it for while some time either. Oh yeah, I seem to be attracting it: I get up to go to work: http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/ac263/lordjc1983-2/Silver%20Escort/IMAG1691.jpg Go out for a meal, come back to find a nice blue astra has decided to park along the line of cars and block me in: http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/ac263/lordjc1983-2/Silver%20Escort/399838_10151290016200691_598510690_23238351_665580111_n.jpg But back to updates: Took the car to Tom Carringtons and Co and had new larger tread tapped into a seat hole: http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/ac263/lordjc1983-2/Silver%20Escort/IMAG1677.jpg Means it can hold a larger bolt and use clips in harness: http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/ac263/lordjc1983-2/Silver%20Escort/IMAG1681.jpg http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/ac263/lordjc1983-2/Silver%20Escort/IMAG1680.jpg (Spacer to be made up) Serviced it myself and managed to not get any oil on the drive this time! Also tried some new spark plugs: http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/ac263/lordjc1983-2/Silver%20Escort/IMAG1690.jpg Car went for MOT passed with an advisory on the cat joint (dodgy exhuast paste) so Taxed and happy for another 12mths, was happy with no other advisorys! Popped on the track tyres and went for another track day and tried out the clip in harness on a recaro, and was quite happy http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/ac263/lordjc1983-2/Silver%20Escort/IMAG1679.jpg Couple of random pics Paul Dolan took: http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/ac263/lordjc1983-2/Silver%20Escort/429500_2996546386683_1052915198_32899786_1496140436_n.jpg http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/ac263/lordjc1983-2/Silver%20Escort/420570_2996536986448_1052915198_32899778_1784058469_n.jpg Still waiting for more pics of the track day.... It had nasty cheapp ones still in from the garage servicing it, my own fault for being lazy! Edited February 28, 2012 by JC

Nice work, are they long seat belt eyes? yeah, 50mm IIRC the ones that came with the harness were too short for my liking, Mr MOT tester was happy with the set up
