Naylor2006
Oh, I missed where you said you had an oil leak. Unlucky man That's cause he didn't, until just then, tis why I was confused too. I went over a bit of firewood in my old escort and smashed the sump in two, literally all the oil poured out within a minute, I shut the engine off as soon as I skidded to a halt, got away with no internal damage, new sump and oil and away I went. Did you drive the thing after oil loss? Where's the leak coming from? PS I now know why you asked me about oil via pm.
sidrick
I guess you won't be after an oil cooler then? Not if you've decided to use the road to do the job. Sorry mate. 2.0 engines are 10 a penny though, and probably more cost effective than a repair IF any damage has been done. Not the end of the world

This engine's a bit unique... I know not the end of the world but annoying, as wanted to stop spending money on it...

Ahmotorsport
If it's not rattling around like billy'o, it's at least worth a look.
Naylor2006
If it's not rattling around like billy'o, it's at least worth a look. I've had a crash course in what a poorly oiled to no oiled sounds like and it was pretty obvious. No oil pressure for a start sounds fkin awful very quickly. My mates Focus took off the start line, ripped off the oil pump belt, three gears up and half a corner later he noticed the oil light.

Assume the oil pump isnt all part of the cam belt pulley on that focus otherwise jeeeze.
