1pukkadeal Posted August 14, 2007 Share Posted August 14, 2007 Just went through this ,someone pulled out on me at a roundabout with the phone stuck to their ear ,rammed straight in to my nearside front ,he admitted liability and I had him recorded with picture and sound on my mobile as proof ,had 4 other witnesses from other cars too ,and it is nearly 6 weeks now and it is only being settled this week,no matter what the reason 99.9 % of rear end shunts are always the drivers fault at rear even if you feel he braked sharply etc ,they just say you were too close Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

majorj0nny Posted August 21, 2007 Share Posted August 21, 2007 I dont think the insurance will care who 'fairly' is not at fault - they are lazy and Just want the easiest settlement ... and technically you shouldnt have been close enough to the back of her not to be able to stop in time... regardless of what shes doing... in reality sounds like shes a dosey idiot and driving dangerously ...
