caled
Sickening how much of a difference post codes make to insurance. I moved into a flat just before my renewal date, they originally wanted around £500 , fully comp + mods declared, until I told them I had moved into an M-post code. I was on the phone at the time and the guy went "oh, err... I'll ring you back". After a bit of work, managed to get it down to just under £1000. And thats 24yrs old with 2yrs NCB. Craig855S
Is it more expensive now to be an 18 year old on your OWN policy than it was years ago. My first year was 1400 FC mods declared on a 1.4 with everything done to it,bodykit,17s,dual exhaust, huge spoiler and a scoop etc And i paid it all and didnt get mummy or daddy to help me,maybe thats why i only pay 260 a year FC now on my volvo? cos ive had my own policies since day

si-steve
Ive jus had a quote through of confused by PD on my 1.6 finesse £540 tpft, me being an 18yr old, pass plus, no ncb, 1 small crash (claim was £400) standard car, or £1300 everything declared, exhaust, brake upgrade, ford body upgrades, £1300!! how cheap is that and im a mechanic, it went down a grand when i put my mum on my policy she has a clean record and max no claims so i guess that helped
