Jordan99940
Why is the 2.0 not finished you may as well have put the 1.8 parts on it while you had both engines out Nice to see progress

bronze4door
Why is the 2.0 not finished you may as well have put the 1.8 parts on it while you had both engines out Nice to see progress simple answer is i am skint, the MOT and tax and insurance are all due on teh mk1 so teh cheapest and easiest way to get the car back on teh road was to put another 1.8 in it, it has been sat dead for over 6 months and i want it for some track action at ford fair also while the 2.0l engine is in pieces i want to put new shells and rings and renew everything becuase its going to get used for trackdays and hopefully some sprint events so i want to know the engine is right hopefully i can do it a bit at a time and get it built then swap the bits off my dead engine and drop it straight in
Jordan99940
Well I'm getting ever so close to Ford fair and the car is still not MOT'd I'm bricking it I think its gonna be a close one today take it your taking the Mk 1 to Ford fair with your Manchester' forum ... Might POP by and say hello
bronze4door
if i can get this running properly and i have no problems with it then hopefully both of them will be coming to ford fair i have got two track sessions booked so the mk6 will be hitting the track hard
