What is it with Bike Carbs? I don't see the appeal, they get badly put onto a manifold and wear out quite quickly, pair o' Weber 45's are probably cheaper and sit on a nice alloy manifold and sound so much better.

100e's are Pops not Anglia's ;) Nearly 150? Can't have been dialed in correctly. I'd say squeezing 160 with correct chokes, jet sizes and exhaust system.

700 quid is about right, depending on how good your knowledge on chokes and jetting is and if you could do it all yourself.

Looks like a thread for AHMotorsport alright

You said it.

160hp at the wheels on a 1.8 zetec on carbs? You're dreaming.

Mr Stu,

How much would the 1800 head on a 2000cc block alter the compression? and how much 'extra' if any power would it give?

Also any running issues etc that would arise from this? extra components you would reccomend?

I'm more than likely going to find these answers when I click on Jordans thread, or, Get lynched by Pete for asking it in here
