Alright mate . Firstly loving the car and progress on this . Secondly what did you use to fit your bump strips ? I have some cc ones to put on mine but dont know what to use to stick them on with . Was gonna use some bonding paste but dont think it would hold on once it gets wet stuff under it . And boy are we getting some rain at the moment . Love the track pics , keep up the good hard thrashing :-D

of the bump strips i got some double sided tape from my local motorfactors that is for sticking the bump strips back on

the only problem is when it got really hot over the last week they started to peal of a little bit as the glue got too hot

and i dont think it will be back on track till ford fair

the story took a nasty turn a couple of weeks ago which ended up with the car looking like this

http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w267/bronze4door/CIMG1958.jpg

i decided not to claim off my insurance and will fix it upas i have estimated it will cost around £200 to put right

the remainder of the headlights and the bumper were removed and then my father took a grinder to the front panel and this is the result

http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w267/bronze4door/CIMG1972.jpg

the chassis looks like its not been damaged but i will take some measurements off the other side to see if there is any damage

http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w267/bronze4door/CIMG1974.jpg

and the pile of bits left over

http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w267/bronze4door/CIMG1977.jpg

i was donated a set of headlights and radiator from a member of my local club that broke an escort a while ago and i already have a set of fog lights knocking about

the grill survived the impact in one peiece so can be re used so now all i have to do is get a bumper bonnet and front panel fitted
