protouring mk6
yep have a turbo but not sure if it will fit manifold, it can always be modded ( the manifold that is) funds are a bit low at the moment so will have to wait a couple of weeks . Stu
Are you intending on just bolting a turbo to a standard engine?
protouring mk6
going to use one of those fancy layered metal head gaskets as you can buy them differant thicknesses as i can lower the compression with it.my mate used one on his cossy as he was running alot of boost so needed to lower the compression even more.http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk77/fastty01/IMGP0353.jpghttp://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk77/fastty01/IMGP0366.jpgalso have an intercoolerhttp://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk77/fastty01/IMGP0368.jpg-not going for for an all out mega engine just keeping it nice and simple. protouring mk6
finally got round to doing something. stripped the turbo of the series one engine and sorted what im going to do.that nice new manifold i bought, it,s in for the chop.going to put a standard bonnet back on and leave the front bumper standard as well. the whole point of this car was to have it looking like a standard car but for the wheels. sort of got carried away, so going to stick to the plan.pics in a couple of days

HIGHTOWER
going to put a standard bonnet back on and leave the front bumper standard as well. the whole point of this car was to have it looking like a standard car but for the wheels. sort of got carried away, so going to stick to the plan. I can't decide if that deserves a "booo" or a "yeyyy" I originally liked the idea of a standard looking car on big wheels, but then I liked what you were doing with it, too... now I can't decide what I want! All I do know is I'm looking forward to another update! Going off everything else you've done, personal tastes aside, it's gonna be top notch work!!!
