I think the audi lights will do the same thing that lexus lights did... Became so unpopular not even lexus want to use them, anymore! I can honestly see Audi taking them off their future cars due to the fact they've been adopted by chavved up modified cars! Gotta say that sketch looks ACE, though! Them lights from a new shape golf? protouring mk6 Posted August 20, 2010 Author Share Posted August 20, 2010 (edited) the led running lights make it look up to date.every one has the bmw angel eye lights and i think there a bit old hat.there will be led,s allround on this car just to make it look more modern.why use old technology when the times are a changing.im not a audi fan ,more apt i think there cars are very over rated and bland, but those headlights are very distinctive. the eyes brows will be toned down and the sketch i think is the way to go.it will be a couple of weeks before i can get back on but you will be the first to see what i come up with.ps it aint gonna be white,going for something a bit more vibrant ? i think it will be bang upto date . i also think the lexus styel rear lights were always crap, more so now. Give it a couple of years (if that) and the LED running lights will be old hat, just like the halo's and lexus lights! I'd bet my bottom dollar on it!!! It's good to be current, but surely it's better to do something that isn't so likely to go out of fashion? ...It all depends on how long you're planning on keeping this car, and if you're willing to change things as time goes on? Nope... They just have to have daytime lights... Not sure on the official name for them, but new VWs just use the full beam as a daytime light... They don't NEED to be LED!
