the thing that ruins the front end imo is that bonnet, you have made what is a curvy car into something designed with a ruler.

 

You cant have straight edges on a mark 6 escort. mark 4 yes mark 5 you get away with. but not mark 6. I think it has to be front end from another car with a modding twist which im sure you will be able to do.

i HATE that bonnet, looks like a chav fitted scoops and a cow sat on your bonnet. the rest of the car is cracking but i think you have ruined the uniqueness by going OTT

side and back look ace, real good. agreed the front didnt work though. how about a modded evotech like mike c's? copying i know but if it works with the rest of the car then its worth it IMO. failing that, back to the drawing board - quite literally in your case!

couple of good ideas there.i have a bumper i made moulds for a few years ago,i think it was based on a zetec S fiesta bumper.i could make one of these up, rad the eyebrows like the last pic and give it twin grills making two ovals between bonnet and bumper.these twin ovals would carry on the rear theme, if you get where i am going and i think the scoops in the bonnet will stay as i think they will look good with the redone front. it is hard trying to make it look standerd but moded, if you know what i mean, lol

you might get stick for copying an idea but if you like it and think it will work then why not, its your car after all. if i still had an escort id have probably done it eventually.

I'm with those that have said keep it looking quite standard.

 

The rear has pretty subtle, original looks, so I'd keep the front similar. Maybe modify the plate recess in the foglight bumper to fit a little bike plate, just subtle tweeks like that.

 

Keep the body subtle, let the wheels do the talking.
