protouring mk6
yep i could change the lights, bonnet, bumpers and put on some fancy paint but i have done this many times and i thought i would do something that looks normal but with a twist.anyway, belive me its hard trying to keep it normal.but i feel this car will look better this way. LiamGTR
The front looks boring compared to the rest of the car now, take a leaf from the EvoTech front bumper....
TC-DNB
The front looks boring compared to the rest of the car now, take a leaf from the EvoTech front bumper.... Agreed...the front DEFINATELY needs something more than a GTi bumper...WRC or EvoTech FTW, or something different modified? Nice work though, been a long but interesting read! Wheels looks the dogs!

LiamGTR
That's what I meant when I said 'take a leaf from the EvoTech bumper' ... means... simlar style but still unique. Or else I would have said, get an EvoTech,
HIGHTOWER
I wasn't quoting just you, I was mainly quoting "WRC or EvoTech FTW"
ChunkiEgg
I wasn't a massive fan of the modded non fogged bumper as the sharp lines weren't quite working with the curviness of the rest of the car, but with the RS/GTI bumper it's looking more ordinary, but it may be a better base to work off.... Maybe reshape the fog light areas so it goes with the whole oem parts but with a twist theme. also maybe make the lower edges of the lower grille/foglight area more sharper, almost like what BMW's been doing for the last several years with their cars (nice sculpted curves, nom nom nom)- did think about trying this myself but not got the skills to give it a try properly. Gotta admit though, I've been a massive fan of this thread since the first pics, kudos to you for trying something that is more out there and effort intensive
Craig855S
The front looks boring compared to the rest of the car now, take a leaf from the EvoTech front bumper.... I'd say that a run of the mill front (either evotech, or cossie bib on a gti bumper, along with a standard bonnet line and no bad boy) will suit the back perfectly, you have to remember that other than the huge wheels, the back is pretty much the same shape ford intended it to be... So sharp aggresive lines will make the front look completely different to the back. I think a cossie bib perfectly blended into that bumper will be enough, and obviously sort the bonnet out
fekyo
right this is what i think/would do 1. lessen the badboy on that bonnet...look for danzetecs turbo zetec later bonnet 2. for the front bumper...either go fully custom or maybe something like 200sx? sure i saw a saloon with a 200sx (s14 one with the nice splitter/fogs) evotech would work but it has to be something special/custom like the back one. 3. keep the bonnet vents. get an engine that needs them in there! IMO
ted
I dont think you really need our opinion, judging by the rest of the work youv done, youv proved you have the skill and imagination to do something different (name of thread) im sure you will think of something to suprise us, keep up the great work im enjoying every minute of watching this thread. ST170 Dan
side and back look ace, real good. agreed the front didnt work though. how about a modded evotech like mike c's? copying i know but if it works with the rest of the car then its worth it IMO. failing that, back to the drawing board - quite literally in your case!
