how could someone not see that colour :P

i would say they will write it off as they will just value it as an n reg escort, eg sod all. they tried to write mine off when someone scuffed my front bumper. just get money back to get car repaired. garage i went too for quote deliberatley over estimated so i got more from person insurance. just need to re-align bumper and t-cut it

and they say brightly coloured cars are less likely to be in a crash.... just disproved that one

i will get it back off them as there are a lot of parts on the car that i can strip and sell get 10% of what i payed at least

if it wasnt your fault you should have refused it being written off.

An insurance company can only demand a write off if its your fault - if the other side is to blame - you can make them put it back to "condition before accident" and they have to oblige.

Gutting fella - looks like its fixable - but painful
