I purchased the car about 3 weeks ago, Ive always wanted a escort like this but didnt think I would ever own one, so im very happy with it :D does have loads of service history and all its old mot's to back up millage (79k) (last mot had no advisories) when I bought the car i serviced it myself (oil filter, fuel filer, spark plugs, air filter, castrol magnatec oil)

the car I think is very tidy for a 14 year old car, it has half leather interior, air conditioning and a sun roof, front electric windows, still has the standard head unit with a 6 disc CD changer in the glove box, and the spare wheel is a alloy the same as what is on the car.

as for future plans, ild like the alloys like what i got but 16" and the centre looks kinda pushed back?? and thats about it, as i like the old car standard look.

Hope u like it.

Cheers

Shaun.

Car looks cracking mate, love that colour! :thumb:

The wheels you have are 16" i believe and if you're asking a question about wheels the same with different offset you may be thinking of EsCos wheels.

15" GTi wheels on there at the moment.

Mondeo wheels are 16" and look exactly the same.

Cossie wheels have a different offset (hence the pushed back look).

There are two different 16" wheels of this design (not including Escort Cosworth wheels). One has a slightly more dished appearance than the other.

really? I know there are 2 widths, but thought that the angle of the spokes to the centre was the same.

I think the OP may be referring to cossies when he wants the "pushed in" look.

All the 16" ronals look good though, only a few cars can pull off the cossie rims without the cossie arches being fitted though IMO
