a 64?..........a sixty feckin four????????????????

Your all a bunch of spoilt pampered children who were living in a reality I could only dream of!!!

this is what we got......

..... even as cack as it was we still waited with baited breath for the day we got a C16 +4.

even though the only notable difference we saw between the two was the fact that the latter had a "+4" badge on it.

must admit though, I often pine after the Xzap and Punchie games that came with them (ON TAPE)

I love the rubber key spectrum. Probably my favourite. Maybe. The 2a was something special.

Non x86 computers i've owned over the years, in no particular order :-

Commodore 64 (facelift)

Commodore Amiga 500 (with a GVP Ultra II 52MB HD + Datel Action Replay II & III)

Commodore Amiga 500+

Commodore Amiga 1200 (still own, with a 50mhz 68030 + FPU)

Commodore Amiga 1500

Commodore Amiga 600

Atari 800

Sinclair ZX Spectrum 16k (rubber key)

Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48k (rubber key)

Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128 (jigsaw key)

Sinclair ZX Spectrum +2 (UK grey)

Sinclair ZX Spectrum +2a (EU black - my favourite, probably), had a Datel 3.5" FDD and snapshot cartridge on this bad boy

Sinclair ZX Spectrum +3

Toshiba MSX

Wish I had owned: Sinclair QL, Commodore 128D, Sam Coupé, Amstrad CPC464.

.. and in the last decade:

Sun Ultra 5 workstation

Sun Ultra 60 workstation

Sun Blade 1500 workstation (current)

I love nostalgia. It makes me weep.
