ScORTED
it might be going white yet as it needs a fair bit of paint to make it mint
Naylor2006
Not keen on the colour but they're good car's & you got top spec to so... Wern't they voted best roadster of all time? they are indeed, they've won rubbish loads of things like that for the drive nothing comes close for this money, when you consider you can pick one up for less than a grand and supercharge it to 200bhp for about a grand (s/h kit) they're unbeatable, the only reason not to have one is if your too tall/can't have a 2 seater *my opinion* That was my problem when i went to purchase an rx7 a few years ago, drew 6500 out the bank but went to test drive & found my head pressed up against the roof, wasn't a good look as you can imagine! Your plans sound good although i'd deffo go for black wheels on an orange car, but thats just me. How tall are you? Rx7 is my dream car, I'm 6ft, don't end my dreams! sidrick
6ft isn't tall, Naylor. Looking forward to seeing this progress. Despite the haterz, I always like seeing different cars on here.

supersport
check the roof drains down the side with the roof down, as when they block up the water goes in the sills.seen a few MK1's with sills full of water.
ScORTED
my sills are still solid but rots in there, going to get it cut out soon
massivewangers
Do like these, and would make a great track car. I just can't help but think that white rims will look awful against the colour though!
ScORTED
i'll whack them on the car and see how they look shopped first
ScORTED
What's the height limit? Im 6ft, would I fit in one? I'm 6' 2" and i have to say more comfortable in a mk1 or 2 than a mk2.5 but once i've modified the seats It'll be all good, my dad another couple of inches taller than me and managed to drive one for years Edited February 27, 2012 by ScORTED
ScORTED
just bought this for a bit of noise (hopefully not too much) http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/mx5rs/toyosportbb.jpg It could be a waste of money, but everytime I hear my friends which has a twin exit system and a decat I'm a bit jealous
ScORTED
Got the exhaust on, needed a bit of fettling, however i think it would have fitted straight onto an aftermarket centre section. Its no louder than stock, the engine still drowns it out, which is ok as i'd rather it too quiet than too loud. it looks quite smart though http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/mx5rs/City_of_Kingston-upon-Hull-20120301-00127.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/mx5rs/City_of_Kingston-upon-Hull-20120301-00128.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/mx5rs/North_Lincolnshire-20120301-00129.jpg
ScORTED
My last expensive purchase for a while! a hardtop http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/mx5rs/Wirral-20120306-00157.jpg its on for now till the weather really picks up, really makes the car nicer on the motorway too, need to sort a few seals to prevent high speed whistlingremoved the wind blocker as eventually a roll bar will be going in and gained a little more seat travel! Plans at the weekend to fit new upper and lower shift gaitors and a new bush to the selector, then replace all the oils with Gulf fully synthetic competition oils for a factory fresh shift and treat the engine to the same
sidrick
Looking good. The hard top improves it a lot IMO.
